SG051 Signalling of trains to and from Liverpool Street 1905
NEW AUGUST 2015. This is the GER Signalling Instruction No. 79, dated 18 August 1905. It relates to the signalling of trains approaching and leaving Liverpool Street, and covers Special Electric Bell & Gong Communications, and Tyer’s Electric Train Describers.
Our signals specialist had only poor quality scans of the original document, a poster which was almost A2 in size, to work from. In order to preserve the unique and valuable information it contained and make it available to others, a transcript of it was made. To remain as faithful as possible to the layout of the original but to keep it manageable, it has been arranged on two A3 sheets. These are supplied in this file.
In addition, the same material is provided here on five separate A4 sheets which will be far more suitable for home printing.
This file will be available to download as soon as payment has been made. You go to your account and click on ‘Downloads’. New customers create an account as they place their order.
