SG057 Signalling Diagrams from various GER Locations
NEW SEPTEMBER 2017. The signalling diagrams have been hand-drawn by our late member John Bennett, in most cases from maps accompanying Board of Trade Reports produced after inspections which followed changes in the layout. These he consulted at the National Archives at Kew.
He was very happy to make them available to all who may be interested, and we are grateful for that.
The locations featured and the dates represented are:-
Chadwell Heath Station Signal Box (1907); Chadwell Heath Goods Yard Signal Box (1907); Ely Dock Junction Signal Box (1918); Ely South Signal Box (1898); Ely North Signal Box (1898); Kings Lynn and Kings Lynn Junction Signal Boxes (1918); Ipswich Station Signal Box (1913); Ipswich Goods Junction and Ranelagh Road Crossing Boxes (n.d.); Ipswich Upper Goods Yard and East Suffolk Junction Boxes (n.d.); Westerfield Junction Signal Box (1904); and Felixstowe Town Signal Box (1917).
