Sales
The Society’s aim is to preserve information and to make it available. We do this on data disks (DVDs and CDs), as PDF files and as printed items.
That information ranges widely, both in subject and in date. Thus the PDFs include the 1847 rule book of the Norfolk Railway and the 1988 working instructions for the Class 156 DMU. It is recommended that you browse the Files Emporium to see more.
We hope that what we offer will be of service to researchers, historians, modellers, genealogists and to anyone with an interest in railways, either the ones in East Anglia or railways in general.
Non-members are very welcome to purchase all items except, for copyright reasons, GERS Journals and GERS News.
Our sales are organised in three ways:-
1. The Files Emporium (for file downloads & disks)
What it sells are disks and downloads. The purchasing is done entirely on-line. The disks are our 'off-the-shelf' CDs and DVDs which will be delivered by post. The downloads are files which you choose on a pick-and-mix basis. You add your selections to an on-line shopping cart, then pay by PayPal or with your debit/credit card or Nochex (cards only). Your order will then be available for downloading, in most cases instantly. All the printed items from the Sales List are available here as files. There are also many additional files which are unique to the Emporium.

2. The Traditional Sales List (for printed items & binders)
This is a mail order business, and what it sells are printed items, plus mgazine binders. If you wish to pay by cheque, you can also buy our 'off-the-shelf' software (such as the GER Magazine DVDs and the Working Timetables CD).
You place an order by filling in an order form (which can be printed out from this web site), then posting it to us with an accompanying cheque. Alternatively you may e-mail your order directly from the web site and pay for it by PayPal or using your debit/credit card.

3. Photographs
These are supplied as JPG files. There are nearly three thousand to choose from, depicting both locations and locomotives. The subjects extend beyond East Anglia, and cover much of the former LNER territory as far north as Aberdeen. You can read more about our photographs here.
