Have you considered sending a Gift Voucher?

We now offer Gift Vouchers to put towards the cost of files and software ordered from our Files Emporium. These Gift Vouchers are sent to their recipients by email.

They will be appreciated by anyone with an interest in railways, and would be an ideal present to mark a birthday, Christmas, Father’s Day or any other special occasion.

As well as giving to family and friends, they have other uses too. How about giving one as a ‘thank you’ to a speaker at a meeting, for instance, or to someone at your club in order to recognise long service? Why not offer it as a prize in a competition?

You may choose any value from £1.00 upwards: there are hundreds of files priced at £1 or less. The link below will take you to the form you fill in if you would like to purchase one.

Whatever you put as ‘Your name’ is used to complete the sentence "This Gift Voucher has been sent to you by...", so you may wish to enter your name in an appropriate familiar form.

From a choice of pictures you select the one you would like to feature on the email, then there is a space where you can add a message to accompany it. If you enter anything at all in that box, in the email it is prefixed by "It comes with a message saying:-"

Finally you choose how much you would like to give. Do not enter the ‘£’ sign – just put 5.00 or whatever. Nothing is charged for the gift voucher itself, so that is the amount you will pay.

That’s all. When you press the ‘Continue’ button you will be taken to your shopping cart which already has the gift voucher in it. If you then proceed to checkout you will end up at a PayPal site which gives you the choice of paying for it by your PayPal account (if you happen to have one) or by your card.

When we receive notification of the purchase of your gift voucher we add a unique 10-character redemption code and then forward it to the recipient.

The Gift Voucher email includes that code and a link to the Files Emporium. To redeem the voucher the recipient puts his or her chosen items into the shopping cart. Just before going to checkout there is then an opportunity to enter the voucher code, whereupon your chosen amount is subtracted from the total cost.
