If you wish to go for the download version rather than the DVD, this is where you then return to place your order. It costs £1 less than the DVD, there is of course no postage to pay and you can get it as soon as you have completed the purchase. At a bit over 1 GB the download will take a short while, however, depending on the speed of your internet connection.

We have previously issued four files which overlap with the ones here. They are MG015 (the Railway Pictorial) and MG014, MG017 and MG020 (the annual volumes of ‘Railways’ for 1947, 1948 and 1945 respectively). They were priced at £1.20 apiece. If you place an order for the download you are asked to state how many of those files you have already bought – none, one, two, three or all four – and the price you are asked to pay will be reduced by £1.20 for each one.

Once you have paid you go to your account and click on ‘Downloads’. New customers create an account as they place their order. This will supply you with a link to download the complete collection of files, plus instructions on how you set about doing that.
