TW082: Weekend Line Closures at Broxbourne, 1952.

NEW MARCH 2024.  Over two weekends in March and April of 1952, Broxbourne Junction signal box was replaced by a new box located at Essex Road level crossing, and connections were laid in to access the new Rye House Power Station. This notice was issued detailing the service alterations during the blockage which required down trains to terminate at Broxbourne. Services from Hertford East or Cambridge went as far as Rye House or Roydon respectively. The Yarmouth services were diverted via Palace Gates, Hertford North & Hitchin.
