NEW DECEMBER 2022.  File TO062 contains the LNER (GE Section) Special Train Working Notices for the week from Sunday 10 to Saturday 16 April 1927.  This file follows on from that one, with details of all the special trains and service alterations planned for the period from Easter Sunday 17 April through to Friday 29 April 1927.

The copy here is missing the title page and starts at page 3.  It is then complete as far as page 160, but we believe there are a few pages missing at the end.  This is a rare book to have survived, however: we know of no other copy, and you still get 158 pages full of unique information.

Most of the entries relate to holiday traffic but other events do feature, such as Fakenham races.  There are the ticketing arrangements for the 'Final Football Tie' (in other words, the Cup Final) at Wembley, and plans for conveying fans to and from a home match of Tottenham Hotspur.
