RE061: Improvements in the Ports of Harwich and Ipswich, 1895.

NEW AUGUST 2025. This is an article which appeared in 'The Engineer' of 25 October 1895, giving an account of the latest improvement works carried out at the ports of Harwich and Ipswich.

It is spread over  a single large page, most of which comprises small but readable text. A map is included: not all the detail in it is clear, but nevertheless it is still informative. The second illustration is a chart showing the tidal variations in the Orwell.

The file will be available to download as soon as payment has been made. You go to your account and click on ‘Downloads’. New customers create an account as they place their order.
