UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2015.  ECR Sundry Committees 1851-1857. These summaries comprise the contents of four original Minutes Books. They refer to around 40 different committees, but most relate to the Traffic, Locomotive and Permanent Way Committee or to Finance and Accounts. The file now includes a 5-page preamble (added September 2013) containing extra information which has since come to light. The latest addition (September 2015) is a summary of the contents of minute book RAIL 186/32 which contains the ECR Way and Works Committee meetings between November 1855 and March 1856: these have been insterted out of chronological sequence at the end.
