NEW AUGUST 2021.  We have found it difficult to be able to offer to modellers suitable drawings of GER passenger stock - the only ones available to us are nearly all still in copyright. This is one of the few we can provide, taken from the Model Railway News of January 1948.

It depicts a 4-wheel GER 6-a-side suburban coach, 27' in length, from the period 1900-1910. The main drawing depicts a third brake. Smaller side views of a similar first class coach and an alternative arrangement for a third brake are added.

The two-page article from the magazine is supplied, complete with its description. Because the booklet is small, the drawing there is at a strange scale of approximately 2.7 mm to the foot.

This is followed by an englarged image we have made of the drawing, which may be printed out on to A4 paper to show the carriage at a 4 mm scale.
