NEW NOVEMBER 2014. The Fen Line Steam Weekend was organised by Network South East on 19 and 20 October 1991. The overhead electric wires between Ely and Kings Lynn were about to go 'live', and this was a last opportunity to have steam trains running across the Fens. Trains plied back and forth, the locomotives used being Britannia, Flying Scotsman and Taw Valley.
