MG019: The Journal of the Railway Club for 1909.
NEW OCTOBER 2021. The Railway Club was founded in 1899, and claimed to be the oldest society for railway enthusiasts in the world. In its early days its membership included many of the 'big' names of the time - G A Sekon, J F Gairns and the like.
We have been able to scan an unbroken run of 59 of their monthly Journals, from December 1906 to October 1911. You can buy them all, together with more information about the Club and a facility to carry out a word-search of all 59 Journals for just £4.00. You can find full details at RCJ.DL HERE.
If you are unsure about making that purchase, you can get one year's run of the Journal here. Should you then decide you would like the complete set, you can claim this £1.00 you have already spent off their cost.
The file is word-searchable and has bookmarks to all the separate issues. It will be available to download as soon as payment has been made. You go to your account and click on ‘Downloads’. New customers create an account as they place their order.
