Three passenger engines constructed at Stratford to replace three withdrawn Sharp 2-2-2s of the East Anglian Railway (109 & 111) and the Eastern Union Railway (116) from which the connecting rods and link motion were re-used.

They were withdrawn between 1881 and 1884.
