RW010 Track Safety Handbook, BR 1992
NEW APRIL 2020. This is an unissued copy of the British Railways Track Safety Handbook, with their reference BR12323/8 and dated April 1992.
It is card-covered and consists of 44 printed pages plus two blanks and a pull-out receipt to sign in the centre. Those pages are mostly shown in this file as two-page spreads. There are a few coloured illustrations included.
The main section covers guidance relating to the safety of persons on or near the line, with instructions on the action to take in an emergency and on electric shock rescue. Two later sections describe the duties of Lookouts and of PICOWs (Persons in Charge of Work).
