New Sales Items at the 2020 AGM

My apologies that I haven't been able to provide this information sooner, but I have been a bit busier than usual and the situation has only been finalised in the last couple of days.

The DVDs of the Ipswich Transport Journal are all ready, and you can read about them HERE.  If your computer cannot cope with DVDs, persevere with the account and you will see that it is possible to purchase them as a download.

There are three new Information Sheets of minutes summaries of the GER Traffic Committee. M527, M528 and M529 cover 1915-17, 1918-20 and 1921-22 respectively, and cost £2 apiece. They have all been added to file MN026 in the Files Emporium.

Also £2 is M530, another new Information Sheet, which deals with the 6.25am train from Norwich to Ely and the accident which befell it on a February morning in 1949. It contains the full official report including maps, plus what the Eastern Daily Press had about it the following day. As a bonus, I have added my own recollections of a journey on that train in 1949 (on a less eventful day!), with the light they shed on locomotive and carriage workings back then. You can also download this from the Files Emporium for half the price as RH068.

One further piece of news is that I am currently re-scanning all our own Journals to a better standard, and plan to issue a new DVD of Journals 1 to 180 some time over the summer.
