2019 Half Yearly Meeting - Advance Notice
The next HALF YEARLY MEETING of the GERS will be held on Saturday 19th October 2019, in the King’s Centre, 63 – 75 King Street, Norwich NR1 1PH
The planned programme (subject to confirmation) is as follows:
09.00 Hall opens for setting up.
09.30 Meeting opens. Time to buy raffle tickets, GERS sales items, second hand books etc.
10.25 Chairman opens meeting.
10.30 Presentation by Steve Beamon ‘The History of the British Transport Police Part 1 1820 to 1948.
12.00 Lunch break. Sales stands open, Buy your raffle tickets.
13.15 Society announcements.
13.30 Presentation by Reg Davies on ‘Frederick V. Russell’. (GER Chief Draughtsman)
14.30 Refreshment Break. Sales stands open.
14.50 Raffle draw.
15.00 Presentation by Mike Bootman 'An introduction to the LNER Carriage and Coaching Stock built for the GE Section'
16.00 Final circulation and clearing up.
