NEW FEBRUARY 2016. The full title is 'Supplement No. 2 to the General Appendix to Working Timetables and Books of Rules and Regulations'.  It is dated 4 December 1976.

The General Appendix itself amplifies the Railway's Rule Book - it applies it to specific routines, and also describes the correct way to use new equipment. A new edition of the General Appendix was produced regularly, perhaps annually. In the meantime a series of cumulative supplements - four seemed to be usual - came out to provide updates. Some items were to be deleted and some amended, while many items were new. To see changes to be made to the index in this supplement, click here.
