NEW AUGUST 2016. A set of 20 black-and-white photographs taken at March locomotive depot in 1955.
The file starts with a page of introduction, followed by 20 pages each containing one of the photos plus a brief caption to it. A photograph is intended to be viewed so it is as large as possible on your screen, and it should look very effective like that.
The locomotives which can be identified include B16s 61421, 61437 and 61455; K1s 62017 and 62053; K2 61727; B17s 61625 Raby Castle and 61641 Gayton Hall; O2s 63939, 63949, 63952 and 63965; O4s 63602, 63618 and 63835; V2 60877; D16 62562; J15 65356; and J20s 64686 and 64692. There is also a shot of 5MT 73111, brand new out of Doncaster Works.
Each picture can be printed in good definition at approximately six inches by four. This is achieved by opting on the 'Print...' page for page scaling to be none. Alternatively, if you set the paper to be landscape and choose scaling to fit to printable area, it will come out as an A4 print - inevitably with lower resolution but still it is hoped acceptable.
The final page shows a plan of March loco (as it was in 1902, though!), to help you to see where the pictures were taken.
The file will be available to download as soon as payment has been made. You go to your account and click on ‘Downloads’. New customers create an account as they place their order.
