NEW FEBRUARY 2016.  This is circular RR410 for the Southern Area of the LNER, issued at Liverpool Street in January 1944. It contains instructions for 'Signalmen, Fog-Signalmen and Others Concerned'.

It states the general instructions from the Rulebook concerning conditions of poor visiblity. It then gives local instructions which relate to named places in the Area. Finally comes a list of the signals up to which trains are allowed to work to await "Line Clear" during fog or falling snow.
