Unzipping your files

In the past, you often needed specialist software to zip and unzip files. However, all recent PC operating systems from XP onwards and recent MAC operating systems have built-in support for zip files. When you click on the link in the e-mail, your zip file will be downloaded, depending on your set-up, either to a folder you nominate or to your browser's default download folder. From that folder, clicking on the zip file will usually open it in a temporary folder, where you can copy and paste the contents to any other desired location. Alternatively, with Windows, right click on the file and you should see an option Extract All which will extract the files permanently to the same folder location. Advice for MAC users can be found here. Should you experience any problems with unzipping files, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
