NEW APRIL 2017. This booklet was produced by the NUR in 1955.  Its purpose was to inform its members of their rights if they suffered an injury at work, if they became disabled or if they succumbed to an industrial disease.  It was a card-covered book with 20 pages, shown here as two-page spreads.  This particular copy was issued to a member of the Pulborough branch in Sussex who had suffered an accident at work on 4 January 1956 - the accompanying form, headed 'The National Union of Railwaymen' in old-style lettering, is included (though we have blacked out the member's name to respect his privacy).
