NEW APR 2013. Copies of this rule book are not uncommon, but unusually this one despite seeing service did not have the later replacement amendments inserted as instructed. Instead, these amendments - sometimes in the form of perforated gummed strips - feature separately as five supplements at the end of the file. The final page of the file shows the (unnamed) owner's REPTA (British Transport Employees' Association) membership card for 1971, issued at March.

The Rule Book itself contains 280 pages, generally displayed two pages to a view in the file. These are followed by a 49-page index, though here the Rule Book and supplements are fully word-searchable.
