NEW MARCH 2018. Drivers' instructions B.R.33003/252 (22 pages plus four fold-out fault sheets) for BR class 08 diesel-electric shunting locomotives. It was dated June 1968. The engines covered were listed as D3000-D4192, D4500-D4502, 12033-12138 and 15211-15236. (D4500-D4502 were the three hump shunters at Tinsley, which it is believed were class 13s rather than 08s.)

The book starts with an eight-page description of all the different locomotives which were included in those listings. Part 2 comprises eleven pages dealing with driving procedure, preparation and disposal - again bringing out the differences between the various locomotives.  Part 3 covers fault-finding and rectification.
