NEW MARCH 2017.  This is a document compiled by our wagons specialist, Brian McCarthy, which summarises everything known at present about the GER wagon stock. The main part of it is an Excel spreadsheet listing the wagons by their running numbers. Where he has the information he has included whether the wagon was renumbered by the LNER or even seen in BR days, its building date, the GER diagram to which it was built, its type, its length, its tare value, its intended load and the source of that information. Inevitably some of those entries are often blank, however. Brian regards this as an on-going work, and classifies the present spreadsheet as a beta version.

There are over 4000 entries in the spreadsheet. You will also receive a two-page set of his explanatory notes for each of the columns, in the form of a PDF file. These two files will be supplied in a zipped folder.

This folder will be available to download as soon as payment has been made. You go to your account and click on ‘Downloads’. New customers create an account as they place their order. To access the separate files, right-click on the folder to produce a menu and from it select 'Extract all...' or 'Unzip...'.
