RG056: The Waveney Valley Branch

NEW AUGUST 2023.  This file deals with the Waveney Valley branch.  The main feature is the article about it which our Founding President, the late Bernard Walsh, produced for the June 1952 issue of the Railway Magazine. He illustrates it with photographs of his own.

A bonus is a page taken from the Railway Magazine of February 1923.  This has a photograph of Redenhall, which even then was a long-disused station on the line.

A futher bonus is a set of six pages each containing a further photograph.  These are samples taken from our catalogue of Sales photographs.

The complete file includes photographs of Tivetshall, Pulham St Mary, Harleston, Redenhall, Wortwell, Homersfield, Earsham (as it was in 1978), Bungay, Ditchingham, Geldeston and Beccles (the last three too being taken in 1978).

You may also be interested in our file MP022, which provides large-scale maps of every station on the line.

The file here is word-searchable. It will be available to download as soon as payment has been made. You go to your account and click on ‘Downloads’. New customers create an account as they place their order.
